At Flower City Psychology we provide comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological assessments designed to understand your unique cognitive and emotional functioning. If you or a loved one are experiencing challenges related to attention, learning, memory or emotional functioning, our highly trained neuropsychologist is here to offer clarity and guidance. We specialize in assessing a variety of conditions including:

We offer in-person evaluations in Rochester, NY and virtual/telehealth evaluations to adults across New York State. All types of evaluations can be provided in-person or virtually!

We are conveniently located in the Linden Oaks Office Park. We are right off of major highways with accessible handicapped parking and elevator access.

Meet Dr. Rhyner

Dr. Rhyner is a licensed clinical psychologist. She earned her B.A. in psychology from William and Mary and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Kansas in 2016. She completed her internship and 2-year post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the Salem VA Medical Center in Virginia. She is currently in the process of pursuing board certification in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and is a member of several local and national neuropsychological organizations including the New York State Association of Neuropsychology, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and APA’s Society for Clinical Neuropsychology.

Dr. Rhyner has served as an outpatient staff neuropsychologist for the Rochester/Canandaigua VA for the past 7 years working with Veterans with complex medical and mental health conditions prior to starting Flower City Psychology. She has extensive experience with assessments for a wide range of adult conditions including dementia, stroke, movement disorders, traumatic brain injury, ADHD, learning disorders, and psychological conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, psychosis, conversion disorder, and more. She is committed to offering a supportive and welcoming environment for individuals from all types of diverse backgrounds.
